About DKSKA

A Traditional Dojo, Rooted in Discipline

Dragon King Shotokan Karate Association of India (DKSKA) is a government registered sports organization teaching traditional Shotokan, Shorin Ryu and Kabudo karate to students in Kolkata and Hooghly, West Bengal.

Our training follows the karate-do carried by Grand Master Hanshi Minh Hang Nguyen, a 10th Dan black belt of the International Karate Shotokan, Shorin Ryu, Kabudo Federation (IKSSKF), USA. Every student who trains under DKSKA is part of that lineage, from their first kihon drill to their black belt grading.

We are a member of the Karate India Organisation (KIO) and the Karate-Do Association of Bengal (KAB), placing our students inside a federation structure that reaches all the way to the World Karate Federation and the International Olympic Committee.
